Who We Are

Washington Elevator is a family-owned and operated business that's been around since the late 1960s. We're also home to Capitol Fertilizer, and we've been in the same place since the 1950s, serving local businesses. Our team, which includes a Certified Crop Advisor, is knowledgeable and can help you get the look you want for your lawn or business. We're part of several important groups, like the Michigan Agri Business Association, Michigan Chamber of Commerce, National Federation of Independent Business, and Michigan Green Industry Association. We're also proud to support local charities, including youth baseball, boy scouts, 4-H, Samaritan House, and local churches.

What We Do

Washington Elevator blends, bags, and distributes turf and agricultural fertilizers as well as ice and snow melting products. We also retail animal feeds, wildlife feeds, bird feeds, home lawn and retail products, as well as a variety of other products. We also distribute grass seed, wildlife food plot seed, farm seed (corn, soybean, wheat, oats, rye, alfalfa, clover, timothy and others).
